  • Have paper and pen handy to write down your confirmation number when you have completed the application.

The information you give us on this application will not change any other application. If you have applied for other Vancouver Housing Authority waitlists and want to update your application, please visit our applicant page on our website www.vhausa.com.

Disclaimer
Applications are accepted online anytime the waitlist is open. You will receive a confirmation number at the end of the application process to confirm we have received your application. Please keep this confirmation number. Your application does not guarantee placement on a waitlist, you will be notified by mail if your application cannot be accepted.

AFTER YOU HAVE APPLIED
Within 30 days you will receive a confirmation by mail that you have been added to the waitlist. While you are waiting for housing assistance we may send you information or we may send you requests for information by mail. If you do not respond to a request or if your mail is returned by the post office, your name will be removed from the waiting list.

Please be certain to let us know whenever your mailing address changes. It is not enough to file a change of address with the post office. Please also notify us within 10 days if you have a change of phone number, income or family size. All changes must be made in writing. Please include your social security number on any correspondence.

You may get a waitlist update form to change your address or family information by visiting the applicant page on our website www.vhausa.com. You can also get to our Applicant Portal from the website. In the Applicant Portal you can find information about which waitlists you are on, where you are on the waitlist and what information we have for you in our records.

When your name comes to the top of the waiting list you will be notified by mail.
